ADAM, a group exhibition of the male form through nudes, portraits and abstraction, will take place at Pop Up Place Observatory, 42 Trill Road, Observatory from 1 till 6 May 2019.
10 up and coming, as well as established artists explore this subject in a variety of mediums that includes photography, drawing and painting.
The exhibition is an opportunity for lovers of art and the male form to experience each artists unique interpretation of this subject. This male form, with its long history of representation in the visual arts, are explored in traditional, as well as new and exciting ways by the participating artists.
Exhibiting artists includes Barend Paul Barnard, Theo Deneys, Mark Gerber, Gordy Ginger, Jim Hislop, Chris Koch, Andre Serfontein, Arno and Michael Tietz-Geldenhuys, Dirk van der Westhuizen and Clinton Wood.
